Two Italians transferred from Alligator Alcatraz – ministry

(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 24 – The Italian Consulate in Miami has succeeded in having the two Italian nationals who were being held at ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ transferred to another facility in Florida, at Krome, the foreign ministry said on Thursday.
The statement added that the families of Fernando Eduardo Artese and Gaetano Cateno Mirabella Costa had been informed of the move.
Alligator Alcatraz gets its name from the fact that the complex is surrounded by ‘alligator infested waters’ in the Everglades.
