(ANSA) – QUITO, 18 LUG – Italy’s ambassador to Ecuador, Giovanni Davoli, participated as guest of honor at the ‘Domino Effect’ local government congress in the city of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas.
The event organized by the mayor, Wilson Erazo, was attended by many of his colleagues from the country’s different provinces, as well as representatives from the United Nations and the Korean Export Credit Bank. The goal of the initiative is to stimulate synergies between the public and private sectors for the sustainable development of local communities.
In his opening remarks at the conference, the ambassador recalled Italy’s commitment to Ecuador’s future and to the fight against transnational organized crime, highlighting the results of President Daniel Noboa’s recent visit to Italy.
