(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 25 – Italy’s Luca Curatoli and Anna Cristino won bronze medals at the fencing world championships in Tbilisi on Friday.
Curatoli had to make do with joint-third in the men’s sabre after losing to France’s Jean Philippe Patrice 15-13 in the semi-final.
Cristino also went down to a French contender in the last four of the women’s foil, losing15-11 to Pauline Ranvier. (ANSA).
